Procastination

Procrastination is the thief of time. It's the enemy of progress. It's the silent dream killer. You continue to delay things until there is no time left. You end up at the end of your life realizing you wasted your one chance at life. So many what-ifs, so many regrets. It's honestly sickening. If you procrastinate, you never actually lived. Wake up. We all are too lenient with our time. We push things back because we believe there is always more time. No. Just a reminder: there's an end to this. I know it hits your gut when you read that. This isn't forever, you only have a finite time on Earth. If you continue to procrastinate, before you blink, your time to do everything you ever wanted is gone. You need to get serious about your time. You need to understand that time is the most precious commodity we have. When our time runs out, it's all over. That day will come, so get serious about doing everything you want to do. Stop always thinking later, because you...

Why is it so hard to be KIND

Why is it so hard to choose kindness? One of the worst human tendencies is to harshly and unfairly judge people of the past and present. We have an enormous intolerance for humans being human. We live in a culture that often confuses doing what's right with being superior or self-righteous. The honest initiative to better the world gets crushed by intolerance for minor mistakes and flaws. It's human nature to act unwisely and unlovingly occasionally. Especially during moments when you are mentally or emotionally weak or worn out. After analyzing my own imperfect life,  I can say this with utmost clarity  “The kinder and the more thoughtful a person is, the more kindness he can find in other people” It may sound corny, but it's as true as any statement. Kind people get more kindness out of the world. It enriches their lives and the lives of others.

Pretty Privilige

PRETTY PRIVILGE Dangerous than Racism In all honesty, I have nothing against those who are pretty or beneficiaries of pretty privilege. It's not their fault and they have been okay with me. This post has no blame, just a frustration I want to get off my chest. I've seen pretty people be treated incredibly well around us so many times. I have seen people flock to them. I have seen people maintain eye contact with only them, and skip over others. I have seen how people are nicer, more collaborative, and more forgiving of those who are conventionally attractive. I have seen them get career opportunities others would have to work twice as hard to get. I have seen them excel in life with little to minimal effort or definitely less so because their attractiveness has helped attracted mentors, willing help, right guidance. It frustrates others but what's more frustrating is that it's only ourselves to blame. It's humans who are built to appreciate beauty & many ...

Men and Crying

It's about all the males who have been suppressed because of our macho culture. As years go by I realize I cry very rarely, meaning once a year - If that. This is something closely related to Gender stereotypes. Males according to our culture should always be "tough" and "strong". There is actually a famous slogan: "Men don't cry" Whenever I cry I feel proud for abolishing this stupid Stereotype. What helped me embrace my kind of masculinity is to accept that it's okay to Feel low, anxiety depression & Cry Dear Men, You too, are allowed to take time to process, heal, to rebuild whatever they have broken inside you. You too, are allowed just to let yourself feel whatever it is you need to feel, and let it go. You are not weak You, too are allowed to be human. -Saketh
